WELCOME TO THE BUNKER...

have we got fun and games. Over the four days of the Blood and Thunder World Cup I shot 16,666 frames. Ok, half that as I was shooting two file formats simultaneously. Still a hell of a lot. But I have distilled them down to these to give you a flavour of the World Cup. Hopefully they will help convey the fun and excitement of the tournament to those that were not there. However photographs cannot covey the roar that went up when team Scotland finally scored against the USA, or the embarrassment of the opening ceremony. A cross between 'It's a Knockout - Jeux Sans Frontieres" and a bizarre singing contest, all it needed was Stuart Hall pissing himself laughing. But for all its weirdness it was great.

My assessment is that the USA has the number 1 Roller Derby team, Team Australia, the number 1 fans (noisy little bleeders), Team Scotland, number 1 for true grit and determination (how many games did they play? 10? 20?), and team England, number 1 for human pyramid building!
